About Papiano
What is Papiano?
Papiano is a piano app for Android. It turns MIDI and MusicXML songs into falling notes on a 3D keyboard, teaches you songs step by step, turns audio into MIDI, shows sheet music, and exports videos.
Who makes Papiano?
Papiano is designed, built and operated by Mokhammad Irfan (Lisztomania), an independent developer, not a registered company.
Is Papiano available now?
Papiano is in testing on Android and is coming to Google Play. Join the Discord to hear when it launches.
Is there an iPhone version or a web version?
Not at the moment. Papiano moved from the web to a native Android app, and there is no iOS release planned yet.
Using the app
Do I need a MIDI keyboard?
No. Everything works on the touchscreen. If you have a USB or Bluetooth MIDI keyboard that Android recognizes, Solo Piano and Learn Song can use it.
Which files does Papiano open?
MIDI and MusicXML files. Audio to MIDI accepts audio and video files you own, plus links to your own content.
Can I turn a song into sheet music?
Yes. Transcribe the audio to MIDI, then open it in MIDI to Sheet and save an A4 PDF.
Can I make videos for TikTok and Reels?
Yes. Export Studio renders your Visualizer as an MP4 in landscape or portrait.
Can I play like an orchestra or use my own SoundFont?
Yes. Papiano supports SoundFont layers, so you can play strings over the piano, and it supports custom SoundFonts. Open Solo Piano and choose SoundFont in Settings.
Premium, Coin and ads
Is Papiano free?
Papiano has a free plan supported by ads. Premium removes the ads and adds extras.
What does Premium include?
A verified badge on your profile, the Papianist role badge, 250 Coin every month, 25 transcriptions a day of up to 10 minutes each, video export without the watermark, no advertising, and a more capable Papiano AI.
What is Coin?
Coin is an optional balance for paid features. It is sold in fixed packs through Google Play, and you can also earn it free through quests. Coin never changes the piano engine, sound or features available to everyone else.
Account and privacy
How do I delete my account?
Delete it from Settings inside the app, or follow the steps on the Delete Account page. Deleted accounts can be restored by a moderator for 30 days, after which they are removed for good.
Does Papiano sell my data?
No. Papiano does not sell personal information. The Privacy Policy lists what is collected and why.
